Frequently Asked Questions
What fees does Financial Growth Management Charge?
We are a fee-only financial advisor. Some financial advisors are commission-based, which may cause fees to be hidden or create conflicts of interest. Not us. Our fees are a percentage of the assets we manage for you, and are a transparent line-item on your statement.
One transparent fee includes the management of all your investment accounts as well as ongoing retirement and financial planning. Our goal is to lower your taxes, manage your risk, and make sure you can retire without worry.
Why should I work with Financial Growth Management?
Let’s begin with reasons why you should not hire us. If you are looking for a financial advisor or financial planner who will trade stocks and other securities in an attempt to beat the market by 10% per year, every year, we would not be a good fit for you.
If, however, you want to invest your savings with a registered investment advisor firm that has been around since 1986, and who uses time-tested strategies to provide current income, seek capital appreciation, and protect against downside risk, you may find our approach to be a good fit.
How are you different from other advisors?
Our fees are transparent and simple. As a fiduciary financial advisor, we never earn commissions, fees, or kickbacks on your investments. You will know exactly how much your fees will be up front.
We are a fiduciary 100% of the time. This means that we are required to put your interests ahead of ours at all times—much like and attorney-client relationship. Not all advisors are fiduciaries, and some who claim to be can choose to be one only part-time.
We specialize in strategies that aim to minimize downside losses. Very few advisors have a quantitative investment program like ours, and our track record speaks for itself. Learn more here.
We invest your money based on research. We never make investment decisions based on a hunch. We instead follow our disciplined investment philosopy, which is based on strong empirical data and rigorous academic research.
We have decades of experience. Our firm was established in 1986. We combine our experience with continual innovation as the industry changes to bring our best to work for our clients.
